Since my start writing songs in junior high, music has been a vital part of how I process the world, as I find inspiration from folk lyrics, jazz singing styles, and pop melodies. Around Iowa City, I can be found at the Mill’s Open Mic Night and singing jazz in the School of Music. Whether in a bar, church, or concert hall, I love using guitar and voice to express beauty and hope to audiences.
